At want, we believe the best relationships — romantic, platonic, or professional collaborations — are built on trust, respect, and genuine understanding. These terms aren't just legal requirements; they're our shared commitment to a safe, respectful community. We've written them in plain language because transparency matters. If anything isn't clear, contact team@want.london.
By using want, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our service. We may update these terms, and we'll notify you of significant changes.
All users must complete a full ID and AML verification with Sumsub before accessing introductions or interactive features on want. This helps us ensure everyone is real and safe, in line with UK AML regulations.
You must be 18+ to use want. You're responsible for account security and all activities under your account. Choose a strong password and don't share login credentials. We may suspend or terminate accounts if age or identity cannot be verified.
We handle payments through Stripe for subscriptions and event tickets. These cover access to the platform and premium upgrades, not specific interactions or introductions. Tickets are non-refundable unless you cancel at least 7 days before the event and we replace you with a member matching similar preferences/values. Refunds are only available if there is a technical error or during system testing. We do not refund based on match outcomes. If an event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, venue issues), we'll offer a refund or alternative event.
We're here to spark meaningful connections using smart technology that looks at what matters to you, like your values and interests, to suggest potential matches. These suggestions are just a starting point; always check in with your own instincts about who feels right for you. We can't promise every connection will click, in-person meetups will always be safe, or our tech will get every suggestion spot-on. Curious about how we use smart technology? See our Privacy Policy for details.
